106 hours of memorials, history, karaoke, science, Shakespeare, teamwork, reflection, museums, laughs, battlefields, and fun - that's how I summarize DC09. The kids were great, the parents were outstanding, and the chaperones were simply amazing. Thanks to everyone who contributed to such a great trip. I'm sure that everyone had a great time (at least better than being in school), but I also sincerely hope that they have a greater appreciation for their country, the history or our nation, and the sacrifices made by many in the past.
Of course, the trip would have been nowhere near as great if it wasn't for the two incredible guys behind the wheel - oh yeah.
